Port a Number to MojoTxt
Do you have a phone number you would like to use with MojoTxt? In most cases we can help you move, or port, that number to your account. We can port most local landlines and toll-free numbers. We can't port mobile numbers.
Porting is done by hand through support. There is no button for it in the app.
How to start
Open a ticket or email support@mojotxt.com with a signed Letter of Authorization and your answers to the questions below.

This form gives us the authority to port your number to one of our carrier partners.
Questions to answer
- Should we set this up as a new number in your account, or replace an existing number with the number you are porting in?
- Should we forward voice calls to another number?
What happens next
Once we have this information, we submit your port request to our carrier partner. It typically takes about two weeks. We'll let you know when your number is ready.
A ported number must also be registered before it can send. See Register Your Number With the Carriers.
