At MojoTxt, we’re passionate about helping churches and nonprofit organizations connect with their communities through the power of texting. Founded in 2014 by Joe Hohman, MojoTxt began as an internal communication tool for Polaris Church in Columbus, Ohio, where Joe was the lead for the production and technology department. As the church grew, Joe realized that there was a real need for a simple, effective way to communicate with congregants—especially as technology continued to evolve.
What started as a solution for Polaris Church quickly caught the attention of other pastors and leaders, who saw the potential for a tool that could help their own churches and nonprofits better engage with their communities. Inspired by the interest from others, Joe decided to turn this side project into a full-fledged business. Thus, MojoTxt was born.
Since then, MojoTxt has been honored to serve thousands of churches and nonprofit organizations across the United States, providing them with an easy and efficient way to stay connected with their members. Whether it’s for event reminders, prayer requests, donation campaigns, or urgent announcements, our platform makes communication simple, timely, and impactful.
Our mission is to empower churches and nonprofits to connect with their communities in meaningful ways—creating stronger, more engaged congregations, and fostering a sense of belonging for those they serve.
In addition to Joe’s vision, MojoTxt thrives thanks to the dedicated support from his wife, Amy Hohman, who runs our customer care department. Amy ensures that our partners receive the help and guidance they need to get the most out of our service, making sure every customer is well taken care of.
At MojoTxt, we understand the importance of communication, and we’re here to help you create lasting connections with your congregation or community.
